Terms of service
Last updated: 15 September 2026
These terms apply between you and Guttae AB, reg. no. 559266-9948, Stockholm, Sweden, when you use Bokfrid. By creating an account you accept the terms.
The service
Bokfrid is a bookkeeping service for businesses: day-to-day bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll, VAT and year-end close, supported by an AI assistant. The service is aimed at businesses, not consumers.
We develop the service continuously. Features may be added, changed or removed, but we do not knowingly degrade the service for you as a paying customer without notice.
Price and payment
The current price is stated on the website. The first three months are free and require no payment card. After that you pay monthly. There is no lock-in: you can cancel at any time, and the service remains available until the end of the paid period.
Your responsibility for your bookkeeping
Bokfrid makes suggestions, but you review and confirm them, and nothing is booked without your confirmation. As the party required to keep books, you are responsible for your bookkeeping being correct and complete and for filing declarations and reports on time.
Bokfrid does not constitute accounting, tax or legal advice. When you need advice, engage a qualified adviser, for example through the consultant contact offered in the service.
The AI assistant
The assistant's suggestions and answers are generated automatically and can contain errors. Always check the suggestions before confirming them.
The tax account from Skatteverket
You can choose to fetch your company's tax account directly from Skatteverket, the Swedish Tax Agency. This uses Skatteverket's service Skattekonto via API, which Guttae AB has an agreement with Skatteverket to use. Data is fetched only when you ask for it and only after you have signed in with Skatteverket using your e-identification. You are responsible for being entitled to view the tax account, for example as a signatory or authorised representative.
What we fetch is a copy of what Skatteverket holds at that moment. Skatteverket's own records always take precedence over the copy in Bokfrid. Skatteverket logs every fetch for security purposes and keeps the logs for up to five years, and may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance or if its terms are not followed. Bokfrid then keeps working as usual, but the data has to be fetched again later or uploaded as a file.
You can disconnect the tax account at any time in the service. Data that has already been fetched stays in your bookkeeping until you remove it. For the fetched data you are the data controller and Guttae AB your processor, in the same way as for your other accounting material.
Your account
You are responsible for the account details being accurate, for protecting your login credentials, and for what happens through the account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us as soon as possible.
Intellectual property
The service and everything in it belongs to Guttae AB. Your material, such as accounting records and invoices, is yours. You grant us the right to process the material to the extent required to provide the service.
Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the service is always free from interruptions. Planned maintenance is scheduled, as far as possible, for times when few people use the service.
Limitation of liability
Guttae AB is not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit or consequential damage. The total liability is limited to what you have paid for the service during the last twelve months.
The limitations do not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence, or where they conflict with mandatory law.
Personal data
How we process personal data is described in our privacy policy. For personal data in your accounting material, for example about employees and customers, you are the data controller and Guttae AB processes it as your processor, under these terms and only on your instructions.
Cancellation and closure
You can close the account at any time in the service or by emailing info@bokfrid.se. We may suspend or close the account in case of material breach or misuse of the service.
Export your material before the account is closed. Accounting records are then retained for as long as the Swedish Bookkeeping Act requires, see the privacy policy.
Changes to the terms
We may update the terms. Material changes are announced in the service or by email in good time before they take effect. If you continue to use the service after a change, you accept the new terms.
Governing law and disputes
Swedish law governs the agreement. Disputes are settled by Swedish courts, with the Stockholm District Court as the court of first instance.
